By looking online you are able to save yourself a lot of money for many different reasons:

• First, online stores have to compete for your business. Since there are so many stores that offer wedding decorations, these stores know that the only way that you are going to choose them over their competition is if they have great deals.
• Second, it costs a lot less to run an online store than it does to run a local store, meaning that the prices for online stores is just naturally lower than that of the local stores.
• The last reason why buying online is better is for the simple fact that you have more choices. You are much more likely to locate the wedding decorations that you really want. Most local stores are limited by space; however, online stores have unlimited space to use.

Another way to save money on weddings is to do your own food. Catering is one of the most expensive parts of having a wedding. If you are able to make your own food, or at least have family members bring food, then you do not have to worry about paying so much money. When you have family members bring food, it is normally best to have the food set up in a buffet style. This way people can choose what they want to eat and how much they want to eat of it. Just make sure that everyone brings a good variety of food. You would hate for everyone to bring just desserts and no entries.
